At the Twin Falls PTSA General Meeting held on December 8th, we voted to endorse the two upcoming Replacement Levies that will be on the February 9th ballot.
Both levies would replace current local funding for our schools that expires after 2010.

We need your old digital cameras!
Our Tech teacher Mr. Weller has requested donations of any digital camera that you may have lying around and are not using any more. The classes still need at least 12 more cameras (in working order, preferably with a SD card slot and USB connector). Please consider donating that old, lonely, digital camera that is collecting dust after you upgraded to a new model.

Mr. Weller has also requested any parent volunteers who have some type of tech experience, to come speak to his tech classes.

VISTAS is an in-school volunteer program of the Snoqualmie Valley School District. The program is being piloted at Opstad Elementary School and Twin Falls Middle School for the 2009-2010 school year. VISTAS is designed to place screened and trained community volunteers into schools to support academic rigor and student achievement. Volunteers do not need to have a student enrolled in any of the SVSD schools - just be a caring member of our community.
